Fla. Stat. § 736.0103(20) – Florida Statutes

Text of Fla. Stat. § 736.0103(20)

“Revocable,” as applied to a trust, means revocable by the settlor without the consent of the trustee or a person holding an adverse interest.

History of Fla. Stat. § 736.0103(20)

The term “revocable” has been consistently defined since the Florida Trust Code took effect in 2007. However, the definition has been found in different portion of § 736.0103 multiples times. For example, the term was originally a part of Fla. Stat. § 736.0103(15). At that time, Fla. Stat. § 736.0103(20) defined the term “trust instrument.”
